Caligni hunters, also known as caligni stalkers or by non-caligni as dark stalkers, are calignis similar to the smaller caligni skulkers who live in Golarion's Darklands. Caligni hunters and skulkers form a physically dimorphic society that is part of the wider caligni population. Caligni hunters are often, if reluctantly, leaders of caligni communities, since most prefer to wander or raid freely, and alone or in small groups.

Appearance

Caligni hunters typically stand six feet tall but are exceptionally thin, weighing only 100 pounds. Their pale skin is covered with remarkably clean wrappings over black leather armor.

Abilities

In melee combat, caligni stalkers often wield two shortswords and can coordinate attacks with caligni skulkers under their command.

Death

As with all dying caligni, caligni hunters blast spiritual energy which, in their case, is a burning white-hot flame.

In 4712 AR, Pathfinders found evidence of caligni hunters and caligni slayers worshipping the evil Tian Xia goddess Lao Shu Po in the Hao Jin Tapestry.
