Djakobu

Historians have referred to a powerful thunder behemoth that was defeated some time between -2381 AR and -2323 AR by the early Shory Empire of central Garund as Djakobu, and have also designated it a lesser Spawn of Rovagug.¹

Legacy

The Shory Empire's battle against Djakobu and the cultists of Rovagug who commanded it inspired many of the Empire's precursor developments in the aeromantic arts that would become known as the Aeromantic Infandibulum, which powered many of the later empire's flying cities. The behemoth's ultimate defeat also led to an age of arcane magic-powered innovation and prosperity throughout the empire.¹
