Ferrumnestra is an elemental lord of the Plane of Metal, who watches over and shepherds its inexorable decay.1

Home

Ferrumnestra has no permanent home. Instead, she constantly wanders the Plane of Metal, consuming vestiges of planar material as it crumbles into basic elements, leaving behind nonexistence.1 She otherwise pays very little attention to the plane's politics or affairs.2

Appearance

Ferrumnestra resembles a gargantuan crustacean covered in many layers of rusted metal plates, and is always accompanied by a chittering swarm of ore lice, which eat the residue she leaves behind. While Ferrumnestra is neither cruel nor aggressive, she cares nothing about others' safety, so most give her and her lice a wide berth.1

Cults

Many of Ferrumnestra's worshippers emulate her by going on pilgrimages to the remotest corners of the Plane of Metal, pushing ancient ruins further towards oblivion.1
