High King Lek'sanji is the ruler of the Mbe'ke dwarves of the Terwa Uplands.1 The position of High King is not a hereditary one, but is instead elected by the various Mbe'ke kings that make up the Assembly of Kings.2 High King Lek'sanji is an aging dwarf who now finds himself quite overwhelmed by the current struggles of Mbe'ke, in particular the ongoing Corsair Wars, which have so divided the Assembly of Kings. Lek'sanji was elected to the position of High King as a compromise, a person inoffensive and unobtrusive enough to all parties that his election offended no one, unfortunately he has not risen to the challenges of the role.1
