Cykurarreot the Mist is an ancient cloud dragon who lives in the Aeries of the city of Cloudspire and has shaped the last millennia of the Mbe'ke dwarves' history and politics.

Appearance

Cykurarreot is an ancient cloud dragon, and the years have taken their toll on her. Her eyes are clouded, and her wings are withered and torn. Because of her age Cykurarreot is massive, weighing as much as a small pirate ship.

Personality

Cloud dragons tend to be mercurial, a trait that has only become more pronounced as Cykurarreot ages, and she can now be downright cantankerous. However, she is still accorded a place on the Assembly of Kings, since despite her contentiousness she has lived and thrived through more historical events and political crises than any other member of the Assembly, including High King Lek'sanji, and provides a voice of constant, steady calm.

Cykurarreot's cloud dragon children and grandchildren live across the Terwa Uplands, and Cykurarreot has had such a large impact on Mbe'ke culture that she even views the dwarves as part of her maternal responsibility.

History

Cykurarreot the Mist has indelibly shaped the history and culture of the Mbe'ke people. Cykurarreot rose to prominence in her younger years, when she assisted the rebels during the War of Split Hearts and helped overthrow the vile High King Nkobe after the massacre of the Nine Days of Blood.
