Mattie Red is a member of the Poisoned Lodge adventuring group.

Mattie grew up in Galt, daughter of a minor noble house. After poisoning the family dog and her rival siblings, she moved on to use her talents in the Revolution. She received a vision from Norgorber when she was near death after accidentally poisoning herself. Mattie pledged herself to the cause of Murder and followed Norgrober's path to Absalom.

Through whispered dreams she joined the Pathfinder Society as a cleric of Cayden Cailean. There she met a Galtan venture-captain, a traitor to the Decemvirate, who requested she assemble a team of like-minded Pathfinders. She enjoined Areen Mardessen and Sussessa Amakye, and together they exited the Pathfinder Society to create the Poisoned Lodge.

Mattie Red protects the members of the Poisoned Lodge at all costs. She uses her spells to confound and cripple their enemies, and to heal and restore their followers. Mattie is the force that keeps her group safe and secret.

Appearance

Mattie is thin and almost waif-like. Her pixie-cut auburn hair, winning smile, and dark eyes hide the heart of a natural-born killer. She often wears symbols alluding to Cayden Cailean, but her steady confidence and fingers stained with Blackfingers paste might just give her away.
