Othaoses are a race of aeons who maintain the balance between light and darkness.2
Appearance
An othaos resembles a swirling vortex of pulsing light and deep darkness with four limbs, two white and two black.2
Ecology
Othaoses seek out supernatural sources of light and darkness that unnaturally prolong exposure to one of them and work to restore the natural order. They may be encountered studying sources of light or observing shadow-casting objects, and they are equally likely to assist in the repair or the destruction of either. They also search for and seek to mend any breaches between the Material Plane and the Shadow Plane whenever possible.2
