Desperation Bay
Technically part of the Arcadian Ocean, Desperation Bay is a bay off the west coast of Garund. It is bordered to the east and south by Vidrian and to the north by the Kaava Lands of the Mwangi Expanse.1
As well as the Vidric settlements of Anthusis and Crown's End,2 villages of the Ijo fisherfolk also stand on the shores of the bay.3 The Ijo are plagued by attacks from Ombo pirates operating out of Senghor.4
Sites
In 4643 AR, pirates of the Shackles sank a Chelaxian fleet in Desperation Bay.5 It is rumoured that the wrecked fleet is now inhabited by sedacthys.64
The Bay is also the location of the island of Smuggler's Shiv.2
