Laughing Jungle
The Laughing Jungle takes up much of southern Vidrian. The Lower Korir River flows past the jungle's southern edge, separating it from the Jungle of Hungry Trees.12
The jungle is the home of a tribe of halflings known as the Song'o. A number of abandoned villages within the jungle belonged to the tribe.3 Evidence generally points to the Song'o having first settled here around 4100 AR.4
The week-long footrace known as the Sargava Chalice partially goes through this jungle.56
Economy
This jungle serves as a major source of lumber that is sent to Anthusis, then shipped elsewhere as trade for Vidrian.7
