Dragon Sweat Run

The Dragon Sweat Run is the most well-known tributary of the Golden River. The Run flows east from the Iron Mountain across the middle of Quain to the Quain-Lingshen Golden River border.1

The Run carries with it fertile silt and valuable mineral deposits from the Iron Mountain, attracting prospectors to its floods.1

Legends

Locals tell of an enormous river serpent that protects the Run and signals its displeasure with thunderstorms when outsiders greedily farm its resources.1
