Embaral Rift

The Embaral Rift is an inlet of the Embaral Ocean that reaches into the western coast of Tian Xia between the southern extent of the Wall of Heaven and the northern shores of Nagajor. Storms, fog, and lurking sea monsters plague the saltwater Rift, making it exceptionally dangerous to cross. The few who survive crossing the Rift are always changed by it. Southbound travelers in Quain are advised to instead take a land detour through Lingshen and Po Li, though this adds days or weeks of travel time.
