Duoa-Ilox, also spelled Doua-Ilox, is a merfolk ranger of Yxinche, an underwater settlement off the coast of Aelyosos in western Iblydos. Since 4710 AR and as of 4715 AR, he petitioned and demanded a myth-speaking audience so his people could have a champion of their own to defend themselves against encroaching sedacthys.1 Despite pleas that myth-speaking had failed to work since the death of Aroden and the Age of Lost Omens, Duoa-Ilox continues to demand action and has rallied other merfolk to harass the people of Aelyosos into action.2
