In Hell's Bright Shadow, an adventure by Crystal Frasier with additional material by Eric Hindley and Michael McCarthy, and fiction by Stephanie Lorée, was released on September 2, 2015. This adventure launches the landmark Hell's Rebels Adventure Path.

Maharai—a Nethysian Pathfinder and plague doctor from Khari—arranges for travel to Corentyn with the help of her apprentice Liset, in search of a fragment from the Poleiheira that Maharai hopes will lead to a cure for the debilitating condition afflicting her son Khem.
