Living boulders are earth elementals resembling simple living rocks.

Ecology

Living boulders are of comparable intelligence to animals, and fill a similar niche in the Plane of Earth as large herd creatures do in the Universe. They gradually gather coatings of gemstones and metal shards as they move through the substance of the plane, eventually coming to resemble ships covered in barnacles.
