In Book of the Damned, Pavnuri's areas of concern included cacodaemons and omitted starvation.

Pavnuri is a daemonic harbinger of secret communications and cannibalism.12

Appearance

Pavnuri resembles a cacodaemon with a bloated body that has dozens of soul gems embedded in it. Those who have met Pavnuri claim the gems whisper their own personal secrets.3

Realm

Pavnuri lives in a realm known as the Burning Aerie on the plane of Abaddon.1

History

He began his daemonic life as a cacodaemon, and rose to his exalted position by cannibalizing others of his kind14 and brokering secrets across Abaddon.4

Relationships

Pavnuri is the most respected information broker on Abaddon, claiming that he can obtain a report on anything within the multiverse in less than an hour.1 Although he currently serves Apollyon, the Rider of Pestilence, he has served each of the other Apocalypse Riders at some point in the past. Despite the fact that he eventually betrayed each of them, Pavnuri still claims that they respect him for his intelligence-gathering acumen.14

Worshippers

His small spark of divine power gives him the ability to grant spells and boons to those who worship him. Pavnuri's religious symbol is a monstrous maw over a burning pyramid.1
