Tree of Souls (Kasai)

From PathfinderWiki
This article covers the cherry tree in Kasai. For the display of corpses in the Lands of the Linnorm Kings, see Tree of Souls.

The Tree of Souls in southeastern Kasai, Minkai, is a giant cherry tree believed to represent the soul of Minkai by worshipers of Tsukiyo. An order of priestesses of Tsukiyo, led by head priestess Osuzu, tend to the tree and the area within 121 steps of its branches.1

Tsukiyans believe the tree is immortal and that its sap has healing properties, but consider tapping it to be sacrilegious. As of 4712 AR, the tree had not bloomed since 4709 AR and was plagued by an aggressive infestation of cicadas eating away its roots.1
