Caimans use the same game mechanics as crocodiles.

Caimans (or caymans) are crocodilians related to alligators, and like their related species dwell in wet, warm environments.1

Variants

Blood caiman

Blood caimans are similar in size and shape to their cousins, but have red-scaled heads and are native to colder, northern climates such as the River Kingdoms,2 and Ustalav.3

Dwarf caiman

Dwarf caimans are miniature caimans, approximately the size of a large dog, that live along tropical rivers and feed on birds, fish, and other small animals. They can hold still for extraordinarily long periods of time and are sometimes mistaken for logs because of this. They are also occasionally used by spellcasters as familiars.4
