The Core Rulebook is the central book of Pathfinder Second Edition, and was released on August 1, 2019. Written by Logan Bonner, Jason Bulmahn, Stephen Radney-MacFarland, and Mark Seifter, the 600-page hardcover presents all the rules needed to play or run Pathfinder Second Edition, including six ancestries, twelve classes, 35 backgrounds, hundreds of feats, spells, and magic items, as well as an overview of the gods, lands, organizations, and people of the Age of Lost Omens campaign setting.
In addition to the standard hardcover and PDF releases, the book was also presented in a limited-edition deluxe hardcover, and as of November 2020 a softcover pocket edition. Paizo released errata for the second printing on November 9, 2020.
