Geography
The foothills of Pol-Ptirmeios are home to giant bees whose honeycombs are harvested by collectors into renowned mekian honey. This sought-after honey can be fermented and then mixed with flour and spices to create mekainae, a treat once reserved to extend the lives of hero-gods but is now available to others for annual events, such as birthdays.2
Relationships
Pol-Ptirmeios maintains a military alliance with Pol-Liachora against their expansionist neighbor Pol-Sylirica.3 Notable Sylirican invasions of Pol-Ptirmeios include the raid that destroyed the village and killed the family of Kelksiomides, whose forgiveness for his attackers led to his transformation into a hero-god.4
People
The hero-god Kelksiomides was born in the hills of Pol-Ptirmeios, where he was raised in and worked his family's vineyard. He was selected for myth-speaking as a young man, and pilgrims seeking Kelksiomides' favor return to his birthplace to swear never to hold a grudge against another.5
Economy
Pol-Ptirmeios' exports include marble, jadeite, and wine.6
