White Riders
It is said that spectral raiders on horseback ride along the Usk River in moonlight. People call them White Riders. Rumor has it that they draw curious travelers to them like moths to fire, and the few that are ever seen again are found slaughtered within a mile or so of the haunted Cairn of Attai Horse-Speaker in Nidal.1
The reality is that the "White Riders" are the nereid Maddy Whorlwalker and her companions out on a murderous spree.1
