Night Road
The Night Road links the city of Kintargo with its northern trading partner, the shadowy nation of Nidal. The road runs from Kintargo's northern Villegre district, exiting the city via the Nightways Gate, then follows Ravounel's northeast coast via Cypress Point to enter Nidal at Thrune's Chance.1
It is an awkward trading relationship as most Kintargans do not enjoy having the sinister Nidalese for partners, but due to the overland distance between Kintargo and Cheliax, trade with Nidal is relatively easy.2
When Kintargo was under Chelaxian rule, this route also granted the fell influence of Nidalese culture another inroad into Cheliax.2 After Kintargo and Ravounel won their independence from Cheliax in 4716 AR, Lord Mayor Jilia Bainilus has engaged in active diplomacy with Nidal.3
