Zenda Modic is a vampire1 from Geb, and as of 4725 AR, she is an assistant professor of osteology at Synostosis Academy in Yled.2

Background

In 4725 AR, Professor Modic led the delegation from the Synostosis Academy at the Six Schools' Convocation hosted by the Academy of the Reclamation in Nerosyan, Mendev. She held her delegates to the standards of the Dead Laws despite them not applying in Mendev, and complied with the Academy of the Reclamation's directive to respect crusader and Sarkorian remains despite her personal feeling that the decision was shortsighted. Despite her efforts to address the discomfort caused by her school's presence, there was still friction with the delegation from the University of Lepidstadt due to their opposing views on necromancy.3

Professor Modic proposed leveraging Synostosis' alchemical and arcane engineering abilities, combined with demon bones left in Mendev and the Sarkoris Scar, to engineer a structure similar to Yled's Bonewall. Her research into the arcane properties inherent in bone led to her creation of demon bone tiles, a type of spell catalyst that could create temporary barriers when crushed.2
