Elemion River
The Elemion River rises in the Shattered Range, north of the Ndele Gap, and flows eastwards towards the Obari Ocean. For almost all of its route it forms the border between Nex and Katapesh.✝
Close to the sea it turns southwards, eventually reaching the ocean at Quantium and emptying into the foul Miasmere.1
The smugglers collectively known as the Current Runners operate fast-moving dhows on the river to transport goods from Katapesh to Quantium.2
