Paizo's Pathfinder Flip-Mat product line (formerly GameMastery Flip-Mat) consists of large folding erasable maps with one-inch grids compatible with Pathfinder Battles, Pathfinder Pawns, and other standard miniatures products. Flip-mats are also available as downloadable PDFs.

Many flip-mats are referenced in Pathfinder Modules and Paizo Organized Play scenarios.

History

The first four Flip-Mat products—the GameMastery, Forest Path, City Square, and original Dungeon flip-mats were produced by Steel Sqwire. Paizo initially distributed Steel Sqwire's products, then later licensed the Flip-Mat brand, extended the line as the publisher, and eventually purchased the Flip-Mat brand.1

Flip-Mat Classics

In April 2015, Paizo began reprinting several out-of-print Flip Mats under the new Flip-Mat Classics brand. The first Flip-Mat Classics releases were reprints of the following flip-mats: City Streets, Woodlands, Village Square, Tavern, Swamp, Ship, Prison, Forest, Dungeon, Arena, Town Square, River Crossing, and Waterfront Tavern.2
