Marblecourt
Marblecourt is one of the northernmost of the sixteen city districts of Sothis lying between the two districts of Aru-Da and Grand Oasis in lower Sothis. Marblecourt is one of the wealthy, peripheral suburbs of the city and, like other such districts, it contains large oasis circles; wide, tree-lined streets; and excellent facilities for its inhabitants. These residents include wealthy merchants and craftsmen, civil servants, and even nobles dwelling in their mansions.12
Recent developments
In 4714 AR, the Pyramid of Sounding Gales, one of the flying pyramids of the defeated pharaoh Hakotep I, crashed into the neighborhood of Marblecourt, causing significant damage, and forcing soldiers of the Ruby Prince Khemet III to quarantine large portions of the district.3
