Pidderack Shaft

The Pidderack Shaft is a mysterious vertical shaft found on the Nesmian Plains. Named for the family of farmers who discovered it when digging a new well, there is no established depth to the shaft, and the worked stone that lines the shaft gives no hints to its history. On the winter solstice, unusually large ghostly spiders emerge from the shaft. The farmhouse that surrounds the shaft has long been abandoned.
