A hag who dies of old age without anger or pain might rise again as an undead creeping crone. Such creatures can no longer be part of a coven and are shunned by living hags.

Night hags never become creeping crones; for unknown reasons, their souls are hurried to judgment after death too quickly to linger or return as undead beings.
