Osprey Club (Otari)
- For another meaning of "Osprey Club (Otari)", please see Osprey Club.
The Osprey Club is the thieves' guild of Otari. It operates from the attic of the Crook's Nook tavern—a poorly kept secret, as evidenced by the establishment's name. However, the Osprey Club's leader and tavern owner Yinyasmera is an influential figure, to whom the Otari Guard's captain Lardus Longsaddle turns a blind eye as long as she keeps the thieves' guild from harming Otari's citizens and economy. The town's visitors, on the other hand, may want to keep an eye on their pockets.1
Members of the thieves' guild can be identified by a tattoo of a flying bird, which is often used as an inconspicuous mark by the organization.2
Sites
Besides their base of operations in Crook's Nook, Osprey Club members frequently utilize the Stonescale warrens. This vast tunnel network was built centuries ago by the Stonescale kobolds, and connects many of Otari's buildings underground.3
Members
Yinyasmera's influence as the leader of the Osprey Club rivals that of publicly elected officials, but she is not the only noteworthy gang member.1 Carman Rajani, the descendant of Roseguard Vol Rajani who co-founded Otari, holds the moniker Ace of Blades, which is reserved for the best knife thrower in Crook's Nook. He has held the title for long enough for it to become synonymous with his name among fellow Osprey Club members.4
