Tree of the Thousand Eyes
The Tree of the Thousand Eyes is a colossal tree located in the Jolizpan Forest in Xopatl. The tree is named for the eyes that cover it, not actual, physical eyes, these are instead patterns that closely resemble the eyes of a peacock's tail. Those who live nearby believe that the Tree of the Thousand Eyes grew from the heart of the chicome couatl that died when a fragment of the Starstone struck it, This legendary event occurred thousands of years ago during the formation of the Jolizpan Forest. According to local legend the heart of the chicome couatl still exists at the centre of the Tree of the Thousand Eyes, and if someone could make this heart beat again, it would resurrect the powerful couatl.1
