Bridespool Fen

From PathfinderWiki

Unlike the other lakes of the Sarkorian Steppe, some moisture remained in the lake of Bridespool after the opening of the Worldwound, which turned it into a rancid bog called Bridespool Fen. Prior to the Worldwound's closure, the swamp was infested by dangerous fungi, filth-encrusted gibrileths, and hezrous.1

The demons who lived here while the Worldwound was open were known as the Plaguemasters of the Bride. They resided in numerous filth-hovels and rancid fortresses, and they searched for new contagions to unleash upon the world. The high concentrations of the demonplague in Bridespool Fen lent credence to theories that the infamous malady began here.1
