Kutaban (pronounced ku-ta-BAAN) is a mercantile free city of the Valashmai Jungle located on the southern river border of Nagajor. Warded by the ancient rib cage of a deceased kaiju, the city is considered the gateway into and out of the Valashmai Jungle. Adventurers, travelers, and goods leaving or entering Valashmai all move through Kutaban, enriching the local merchant lords. Though typically feuding, these merchant lords will unite to protect this status whenever an upstart trade city tries to compete with Kutaban for its monopoly on Valashmai's northern border.
