Ebeshra
Ebeshra, the Winged Razor of the furthest clouds, is an unusual crystalline kaiju of anomalous geometries who appears infrequently above the mountains of Golarion.1
Appearance
At a distance, Ebeshra typically resembles a massive serpentine cloud. When it gets closer, where its peculiarities are more visible, Ebeshra instead resembles a serpent composed of infinite crystalline wings, not moving in the conventional sense but instead unfurling and folding in impossibly, contorting into and out of reality as it transposes through space.12
Abilities
Due to its massive size and weight, Ebeshra's movements can cause earthquakes and collapse structures, especially when it moves quickly or aggressively.
The crystals on Ebeshra's body can be aligned to generate a bolt of lightning that leaves residual static electricity powerful enough to also harm those in its wake.
Ebeshra can also launch crystals at beings that the kaiju senses is attempting to teleport or engage in planar travel away from the Universe. If struck by the crystal, the attempt fails and the being becomes temporarily pinned to the plane and incapable of teleporting on or leaving it.
Ebeshra can also contort its body into a form resembling a blade and tear a planar rift that draws nearby beings through it into another plane, though it can also protect others from the rift's pull. It does so only to remove a perceived threat or when commanded to by a deity, and the rift can be prematurely closed by convincing Ebeshra to do so; by applying a mastery of knowledge about the arcane, occult, or planar frequencies; or by emitting a harmonic tone that negates the rift's planar frequency.3
Ecology
Ebeshra sightings are rare and erratic but span the mountainous regions of Golarion. It is most frequently observed along the Wall of Heaven in Tian Xia. The conditions for its arrival are not known, though rumors suggest large planar disruptions or kaiju brawls attract its attention. Its crystalline hull is apparently capable of piercing through dimensions, and it keeps the special properties when taken off Ebeshra's body.1
Background
In ages past, according to folklore, Ebeshra was created by great planar entities and deities to repair a tremendous breach in reality. One such deity granted Ebeshra sentience to continue repairing tears between the planes.1
Hoping to exploit its dimension-piercing properties, many bounties exist for pieces of Ebeshra's crystalline shell, though there is yet to be any success utilizing this coveted material. Only a single adventurer has survived scaling and taking a piece of its body, and the triumphs ended there. After leaving behind a haunting account of their experience, the adventurer became delirious, repeating that a thousand eyes stared back. Their client suffered an identical affliction, and the retrieved crystal has since been missing for years.1
