January 1 - Bretheda

Bretheda symbol.svg

Bretheda is the ninth planet from Golarion's sun and the largest planet in its solar system. It is also known as the Cradle, as the creatures which inhabit the outer atmosphere of the planet have created diverse ecosystems for a number of Bretheda's moons and populated them with life as well. Bretheda is a gas giant of a blue and purple hue, which acts as 'parent' for the dozens of moons which orbit the planet known as its 'children'. As a gas giant, there are few notable places on the planet as the planet is in constant flux. Nevertheless, some of the most notable places on Bretheda are the Eyes of the Ancients, the three most prominent storms on the planet's surface, which reportedly formed in 1606 AR. read more

Pathfinder Duels, a free-to-play mobile customizable card game (CCG) developed by 37Games, was released on December 11, 2017 for Android devices, and on January 4, 2018 for Apple devices. In Pathfinder Duels, players use a customizable deck of cards to duel other players or the game's AI. The goal of both players is to reduce the enemy adventurer's hit points (HP) to zero. Upon initial release, Pathfinder Duels offered a full story mode, encompassing the entire Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path, ten unlockable iconic heroes, weekly challenges, and real-time player-vs.-player duels. read more

Thuvia symbol.webp

The fabled sun orchid elixir, which was discovered by the Thuvian alchemist Artokus Kirran in 1140 AR, is greatly desired for its ability to temporarily halt and even reverse the aging process. The elixir is difficult and dangerous to make, and its key ingredient is the nectar of the rare sun orchid flower. The flower can only be found in Thuvia’s desert interior, regions infested by the corrupted genies known as divs. Orchid hunters must also contend with the local tribal leaders, known as Water Lords, many of whom are little better than bandits. read more

Half-janni.jpg

Half-janni are the children of burning passions consummated with mysterious desert travellers. As with many half-breeds, they do not belong entirely to either of their parents' worlds. The appearance of a half-janni is normally so close to human that it is impossible to tell from a cursory glance that they are not human, although they are always exceptionally beautiful. It is only on closer inspection that people notice their otherworldly grace, serenity, and the small cloud of sand that often dances around their feet. read more

Castrovel

Castrovel, the Green Planet is the second planet from Golarion's sun and the blue planet's closest neighbor. While Akiton is generally associated with warfare, Castrovel often represents fertility and lust. These generalizations are well-founded, as the planet is almost entirely covered in teeming jungles, endless swamps, and strange clouds of colored gas. read more
