Otolmens was a primordial inevitable who tirelessly watched over the Universe for supernatural anomalies that threatened physics and mathematics, and sent agents to investigate and correct them.1

After the death of Gorum in 4724 AR, the dwarven deity Grundinnar and an array of dwarven heroes battled Otolmens over the fate of a warshard that crashed at the gates of Larrad. According to the Molthuni novel When Gods Make War, both were then removed from reality in a loud flash as if neither had ever existed.2

Home

Otolmens's home was the Fivefold Calculus, one of the most popular locations for off-duty inevitables to spend their time.3

Appearance

Otolmens was a mechanical being with multiple limbs and heads who spun like an orrery when active.4

Relationships

Otolmens regularly reported her findings, and her plans to correct any errors found, to a group of deities who have largely grown inured to her reports but learned that they neither could nor should discourage her, as her actions ultimately helped to maintain the universe.1 She was disquieted by the unstable demiplane of the Hao Jin Tapestry.5

Servants

Otolmens was assisted by thousands of axiomites and visiting mathematicians, who processed the data she gathered and investigated or corrected the anomalies when she commanded them to do so. They often cooperated with aeons when doing so, but sometimes disagreed with them over the best course of action.1

Otolmens's herald, Tenth-by-Third, is a dogmatic creature even by inevitable standards and cannot stand even the scent of chaos.5

Cults

Otolmens was worshipped by scientists and engineers for her mathematical precision. They prayed to her to be inspired and stave off inaccuracies in calculation, and were sometimes tasked to fight threats to their planet on her behalf.4 The fate of her followers after her disappearance is unknown.
