Ulon is the god of conspiracy, isolation, and manipulation worshiped by the inhabitants of ancient Azlant. Ulon considers that they are the ever-seeking truth that distracts people from ongoing evil and motivates them to fight and question. Ulon thrives where conspiracy winds its way into society, and teaches that truth can only be told by carefully picking apart and exposing lies, as truth and lies are manufactured in similar ways. So enigmatic is Ulon that many of its followers do not believe that their powers are actually granted by a deity.1

History

Ulon worked to hide knowledge about Earthfall and other disasters that might have saved countless lives. He deceived and used his herald, the Weaver of Webs, toward ensuring those ends. The masters of Aucturn later told the Weaver of Webs that Ulon and other Azlanti gods disappeared to places unknown after Earthfall.2

Cults

In Azlanti society, Ulon was only known as an urban legend, although its name was frequently heard in the fringes of society. Its followers gathered in small cults with little interaction that independently worked to unravel the empire's secrets by spying on high-profile public figures.1

Ulon's highest priests were aware of the alghollthus that effectively controlled Azlant from the shadows, turning those priests into targets for the alghollthus' agents who sought to keep their secret.1

During the Age of Excess in Absalom, a cult of Ulon expanded into the city and instigated political and internecine conflict, contributing to the city's strife until the ascension of Norgorber via the Test of the Starstone in 1893 AR. Norgorber's new cult quickly assassinated the Ulonite cult's members within a decade and replaced it as the city's brokers of secrets and espionage.3

Servants

Ulon's herald was the Weaver of Webs.4
