Zemzimara is the queen of a thriae hive that dwells within the Caves of Zarantavli in the depths of the Elemental Plane of Air. Unfortunately, thriae are not native to the Plane of Air and it provides some unique challenges for Zemzimara and her hive, in particular procreation. Thriae as a race are entirely female and rely on male humanoids of other species to father their offspring. Unfortunately, in the depths of the Plane of Air, such males are in short supply. As such, Zemzimara has to organise frequent expeditions to the cities and more heavily inhabited regions of the Plane of Air, and even as far as the Universe in search of willing males to help her and the hive procreate and continue its existence.
