House Porphygo are a noble house of Oppara and are considered of only middling importance. Their third son Urbicus Porphygo is the current commander of the Taldan fortress of Canalsguard and, whilst this might sound like a high honour, Canalsguard is a dumping ground for military screw ups and washouts and its commander is no exception.1
