Senator Karthis is a member of House Karthis and the middle-aged leader of the opposition party in Oppara.¹

Background

Senator Karthis comes from the Sophra Prefecture, whose capital is Zimar, and supports the declaration of a new war against Qadira. He has frequently orated on the public steps of the Senate or made a speech to the senate within, telling of the horrors that his ancestors suffered during the Grand Campaign and demanding the destruction of Qadira.¹²

Family

Karthis had a daughter named Sabina, who was kidnapped in 4717 AR. Senator Karthis blamed Qadira for her disappearance,³ which was instead the work of the vampire Stavros Nightcrescent. After her rescue from Nightcrescent, who turned her into a vampire, she requested and was granted her swift destruction.⁴
