Talismans are also described on Core Rulebook 565. In Occult Adventures, talismans were wondrous items with different properties not implemented in Pathfinder Second Edition. See Meta:Talisman.

This article covers a topic relevant to Pathfinder Second Edition. For the Pathfinder First Edition equivalent, see Meta:Talisman.

A talisman is a small magical item that can be affixed to weapons, shields, and armor. Talismans typically come in the form of a gem, stone, or charm and hold a single charge of magical energy or combat knowledge. Upon activation it releases a temporary effect before burning out permanently, often disintegrating into dust.1
