Tidal Cells

From PathfinderWiki

The Tidal Cells are used to enforce cruel justice, sitting below the fearsome prison of the Locker in the pirate city of Port Peril. Most justice in the pirate port is mob justice but for heinous crimes, like mutiny, a crueller punishment is required. The Tidal Cells sit below the high-tide line and almost totally fill with water when the tide comes in; the prisoners are chained to the ceiling and must precariously balance on the iron crossbeams for hours at a time or risk drowning. To make matters worse, the cruel jailer Xue Bonebleeder often chums the water, attracting the flesh-hungry beasts of the Arcadian Ocean into the cells to feast on the chained prisoners.1
