Latchmin's Folly

Latchmin's Folly is a squat sea fort constructed on a rise in the High Eastwind district of Port Peril. Latchmin's Folly is named for its builder Lukain Latchmin, a pirate lord who, a century ago, aspired to be crowned Hurricane King. The burns that still scar Latchmin's Folly attest to what utter failure his lofty ambitions led. Latchmin's Folly is now the home of Zeru Faizel, a Katapeshi merchant who has made a fortune trading throughout the Shackles with an alliance of merchants known as the Viridian Cartel. Zeru has used his fortune to turn Latchmin's Folly into a stylish manor house complete with lavish gardens.
