  • 4606 AR Aroden's death throws Cheliax into turmoil;2 the country descends into a civil war that lasts for more than 30 years.11
  • ???? Nidal's Umbral Court supports House Thrune in the Chelaxian Civil War.12
  • 4632 AR Molthune achieves independence from Cheliax.2
  • 4633 AR The people of Korvosa reluctantly accept that war-torn Cheliax has lost all interest in their affairs and that they have effectively been forced to become an independent city state. Ruling lord Eodred Arabasti becomes the first king of Korvosa.13
  • 4639 AR House Thrune wins the Battle of a Hundred Kings, defeating House Davian and its Sargavan backers in what ultimately proves to be the decisive battle in the Chelaxian Civil War. The city of Corentyn has yet to recover from the damage it sustained during the battle.4
  • 4640 AR The Chelaxian Civil War ends in victory for House Thrune.2 Worship of Asmodeus becomes the official state religion.6
  • Circa 4640 AR In return for the support of the Umbral Court during the Chelaxian Civil War, House Thrune withdraws Chelaxian agents from Nidal. Nidal effectively gains independence from Cheliax as a result, but remains a staunch ally of House Thrune.12
  • 4643 AR House Thrune sends an expeditionary force to Sargava in reprisal for the colony's support for House Davian in the Chelaxian Civil War. Shackles Pirates engage the fleet in Desperation Bay and destroys it.6
  • 4660 AR Cheliax sends a second fleet to attack Sargava, which the Shackles Pirates drive into the Eye of Abendego. The Chelaxian vessels which survive the experience head for home, and no further fleets are sent, effectively granting Sargava its independence from Cheliax.614
  • 4667 AR The people of Galt rise up against Chelaxian rule and achieves independence, but remains locked in a continual cycle of violence known as the Red Revolution.614
  • 4669 AR Andoran achieves independence from Cheliax.
