Age of Enthronement
- ???? Taldor's Third Army of Exploration leaves Oppara and heads west along the southern coast of Avistan. The Third Army succeeds in bringing the region within Taldor's sphere of influence.1
- 1520 AR Taldor's Third Army of Exploration completes its conquest of the southern coast of Avistan. The city of Corentyn is founded2 and named after the Third Army's leader, General Coren.3
- 1975 AR Ulfen longships raid the region that will later be known as Cheliax.2
- 2555 AR All clerics are expelled from Rahadoum. Many of them seek refuge in Corentyn. The resulting upswing in religious feeling in the city leads to work starting on the Arch of Aroden.4
- 2606 AR The Arch of Aroden is completed.4
- 3007 AR Taldor's western frontier region starts being referred to as Cheliax.2
- 4081 AR Chelaxian king Aspex the Even-Tongued successfully engineers the independence of Cheliax from Taldor,2 capitalising on the turmoil created by Qadira's 4079 AR invasion of Taldor.3 He also manages to persuade Taldor's province of Andoran to secede from Taldor and join Cheliax.5
- Circa 4091 AR What is later known as the Even-Tongued Conquest comes to an end. Under the brilliant leadership of Aspex the Even-Tongued, Cheliax gains even more territory: Devil's Perch, Galt, and Isger.2
- 4137 AR Cheliax attacks Absalom, but the siege is unsuccessful.2
- 4138 AR Cheliax establishes a colony in western Garund.2
- 4142 AR The new colony in Garund is named Sargava by Prince Haliad I.6
- 4305 AR Cheliax begins a period of aggressive expansion, which comes to be known as the Everwar. The Everwar, which continues until 4410 AR,2 begins with an invasion of Nidal.7
- 4338 AR Cheliax completes the conquest of Nidal.2
- ???? During the course of the Everwar, Cheliax gains control of Molthune.2
- 4404 AR Field Marshal Jakthion Korvosa receives a charter to found a city in Varisia.8
- 4407 AR Field Marshal Korvosa establishes Fort Korvosa in southern Varisia.29
- 4410 AR Cheliax officially abandons its efforts to expand into Belkzen and Varisia, thus ending the Everwar.2 However, Cheliax retains control of Fort Korvosa, which begins to thrive and circa 4503 AR becomes known simply as Korvosa.10
- 4507 AR Chelaxian forces stationed at Korvosa drive the Shoanti barbarians back into the Storval Plateau.2
- 4576 AR The Order of the Rack is founded at Westcrown. It is the first Order of what will become known as Hellknights.2
- 4605 AR Cheliax prepares for the much-prophesied appearance of Aroden, expected to herald the start of a new Age, confidently predicted to be the Age of Glory.2

- 4606 AR Aroden's death throws Cheliax into turmoil;2 the country descends into a civil war that lasts for more than 30 years.11
- ???? Nidal's Umbral Court supports House Thrune in the Chelaxian Civil War.12
- 4632 AR Molthune achieves independence from Cheliax.2
- 4633 AR The people of Korvosa reluctantly accept that war-torn Cheliax has lost all interest in their affairs and that they have effectively been forced to become an independent city state. Ruling lord Eodred Arabasti becomes the first king of Korvosa.13
- 4639 AR House Thrune wins the Battle of a Hundred Kings, defeating House Davian and its Sargavan backers in what ultimately proves to be the decisive battle in the Chelaxian Civil War. The city of Corentyn has yet to recover from the damage it sustained during the battle.4
- 4640 AR✝ The Chelaxian Civil War ends in victory for House Thrune.2 Worship of Asmodeus becomes the official state religion.6
- Circa 4640 AR In return for the support of the Umbral Court during the Chelaxian Civil War, House Thrune withdraws Chelaxian agents from Nidal. Nidal effectively gains independence from Cheliax as a result, but remains a staunch ally of House Thrune.12
- 4643 AR House Thrune sends an expeditionary force to Sargava in reprisal for the colony's support for House Davian in the Chelaxian Civil War. Shackles Pirates engage the fleet in Desperation Bay and destroys it.6
- 4660 AR Cheliax sends a second fleet to attack Sargava, which the Shackles Pirates drive into the Eye of Abendego. The Chelaxian vessels which survive the experience head for home, and no further fleets are sent, effectively granting Sargava its independence from Cheliax.614
- 4667 AR The people of Galt rise up against Chelaxian rule and achieves independence, but remains locked in a continual cycle of violence known as the Red Revolution.614
- 4669 AR Andoran achieves independence from Cheliax.
