Carthagos

Carthagos is a bloatmage who owns the Flame That Binds, a shop in the city's Tarheel Promenade district that specializes in the construction of magical weapons. He is bald, and not as powerful a spell caster as those found in the Arcanists' Circle, but he gets kickbacks by letting other mages use his store to meet potential clients. He makes enough with his shop to pay for his livelihood, and further his own studies.¹
