Zharchovsk is largely populated by Kellids but includes a small population of people brought by Baba Yaga from the distant planet of Earth, specifically the nation of Russia. In 4720 AR, these Russians declared Zharchovsk's independence from their local Jadwiga overlord Chesjilawa Jadwiga Karina and pledged their allegiance directly to Queen Anastasia Nikolaevna.
