Velashu Ferry
Located half way between the Cyphergate and Maskyr's Island, the Velashu Ferry is run by Grimas Oltedler.1
History
When Riddleport was first settled, it suffered attacks from creatures such as goblins, ogres, and trolls from the nearby Calphiak Mountains. These attacks led to a ban on bridges over the Velashu River which exists to this day. This means that travelers must either hire a fisherman to bring them across the river or use the ferry. The ferry fares vary depending on the length of trip requested by the client. Average trips can cost from 2 to 6 cp per passenger.1
