The Serpentine Lodge is a loose association of sailors and seafarers who dedicate themselves to hunting down and either killing or capturing mighty sea serpents.1

Members

The Serpentine Lodge has lodges and members all across the Inner Sea region from as far as Riddleport in the north, all the way to Anthusis in the south. For members of the Serpentine Lodge hunting a sea serpent is the greatest sport imaginable and, for many, the hunt moves quickly from passion to obsession. Those who do succeed in tracking down their sea serpent quarry often return bearing vivid scars from their encounter, if they return at all. Sea serpents are incredibly illusive beasts; hunts can take years, sometimes even decades; many eventually lose interest but, for most members of the Serpentine Lodge, the hunt for the evasive sea serpent becomes a core part of life itself.1

Notable Members

The Serpentine Lodge is led by Captain Ahrana Mullorn, who bears terrible scars from her battle with the terrible Ashen Worm that still lurks in the Fever Sea off the coast of Vidrian.12

Headquarters and other lodges

The Serpentine Lodge's largest lodge, and de facto headquarters, is located in the Varisian pirate city of Riddleport. This lodge acts as a repository for a vast library of knowledge about sea serpents and also as a place for members to gather between hunts. These members spend their downtime trading tales, showing off trophies from their successful hunts, and creating magic items that help in the endless hunt, for instance, the serpentseeker bow.1

The Serpentine Lodge also has a strong presence in the Vidrian capital city of Anthusis.2
