Baron Utilinus of Sargava hires mercenaries to fight the Mwangi forces of the city of Mzali who have been attacking the city of Kalabuto ever since the Sargavans launched an unwise invasion of their city. The mercenaries succeed in expelling the Mzali soldiers across the River of Lost Tears.3
Lictor Parthos Yehl is exposed for attempting to steal the Gray Spiders' treasury for himself and is expelled. This permanently damages the Order of the Torrent's reputation and begins its slow decline.6
Luana Laken of Lambreth purchases the Cullerton family'swool looms, which were seized by Kamdyn Arnefax after he exiled the family from Lambreth. Laken establishes connections with the Cullertons' suppliers and resumes production of Cullerton wool under the new name of "Laken wool".8
Tandre Cullerton of the Cullerton family suggests a delay in recognising Arnefax's lordship. In response, Arnefax kills Tandre and his wife, exiles the Cullerton family from Lambreth, and seizes their property.2
Fearing the same fate, the Angelidis and Vizcarra families fall in line behind Arnefax and effectively dissolve the Triunes of Lambreth, which had ruled Lambreth since its founding in 4502 AR.2
