Janvari is one of the mahajanapadas that sits within the depths of the Crying Jungle in Vudra. Janvari is located next to the holy Jansagar Lake, which is home to the goddess Janpati. Any animal that drinks from it is granted sentience, and Janvari is populated almost entirely by these awakened animals, including the awakened panther Tendula who rules them.1
