Tanadesh is an unusual mahajanapada in the Cradle region of Vudra. Unlike most mahajanapadas composed of Vudrani, Tanadesh is a kingdom of vishkanyas, humanoids who possess a supernatural affinity for poison and guile. It is a jungle kingdom located toward the centre of the Cradle.1

Emissaries from Tanadesh travel seasonally to Radripal for study in the city's ashrams.2
