Olmur Danavakus is the grocer guildmaster of the Varisian town of Sandpoint and operates its Grocer's Hall.

Appearance

Danavakus is a perpetually smiling halfling.

Background

Danavakus assumed the role of guildmaster after Bess, his dour predecessor, was killed by the mass murderer Chopper during the Late Unpleasantness. As of 4724 AR, he has held the role for nearly 20 years.

Possessions

Danavakus inherited a cache of gold from Bess, which is stored in hiding beneath his pantry's floor. He spends it on candy that he distributes each week (formerly on Firedays, and as of 4724 AR on Sundays) in what has become known as "candy-grabs" by the local children who enjoy them.

Danavakus' candy selection, which children draw from a bag, includes mints, maple chews, and saltwater taffy, as well as one chocolate per week. Each are individually wrapped in waxed parchment, and the child who draws the piece of chocolate also wins a prize that varies with each week and is typically a toy, pastry, or silver piece.
